week 6 - friday night

[ Sure, we've been playing body part scavenger hunt this week, but more importantly, this week does mark something new. With Friday having passed, no one is dead, seemingly as promised. Granted, the food has been less than appealing this week, but. Still. There's still cause for at least a little celebration.

If you're an adult (so far as Break is concerned, which is 18+), you'll be invited to the general store that evening, since why go far from the alcohol? Break could lug it back to his room, but if we're honest, there's way more interesting stuff to mess with when drinking in the general store itself. Drinking and slingshots? How could that ever go wrong?

Break has at least recruited Gilbert and Rhys to help him lug out as many cups and mugs as he could, and all of the spirits available are laid out on the counter. There's nothing to mix with, since we're the Salty Spittoon, not Weenie Hut Jr., duh. You know what this means. ]

[ Much like the teen slumber party, feel free to use this post as a general mingle! make toplevels, threadjack, you know the drill, etc.! The 18 and under crowd can come hang out, but they won't be allowed to partake in the liquor, how sad. ]

[ There is a bit of concern in his voice. Not that he'd admit it, but he's watching the other like, what..... ]

[He'll just STARE OVER AT DHAOS... Actually, it seems like he's staring through Dhaos for a second. His vision is not doing so hot right now, okay.]

...You saying I don't seem like I'm alright?

[ He hesitates. He does not know if Gilbert placing stress on a word like that is a good thing. ]

To clarify, it simply seems you may have over-indulged and thus are likely not feeling well. I do not mean to suggest you are not an 'alright' individual.

[Now he's just PAUSING. And POINTING. Because he's apparently decided to take offense anyway, gosh Dhaos!! Tried so hard and got so far.]

I'll - I'll have you know that Preak would've stopped handing over those drinks if I wasn't alright, alright? Alright.

[1) He sure just mispronounced Break's very easy name and 2) he sure is foolish enough to believe this is true, in his drunken stupor.]

[ This is the first time he's been face to face with a drunk human. Why this. ]

But for now, he's just... going to slowly start to drop to the floor... Not even really sitting, just lowering himself down. AND YET, HE STILL SAYS:]

[And then he POINTS... To the alphabet blocks that he scattered earlier and hasn't yet picked up.]

He said... those guys are there! Probably- just making those blocks all weird!

He thinks the ghosts did it...

... The ghosts have not communicated at this party. It is likely they are not present here in this store for now, or unable to reach out to us at this moment.

[ He cannot decide if that would be a good thing or bad thing even now, considering everything...although he'd still have preferred for them to appear even if Gilbert was a mess. ]

[Actually, the blocks just happened to fall in a way that the word "hit" was kinda-sorta spelled out... Break just encouraged his misunderstanding.]

[ He turns his head to look back at the blocks and then at Gilbert. ]

Perhaps you have already beaten them, and you haven't even realize it yet. Hence why they're no longer here.

[ Maybe this was a good way to get Gilbert to calm down. No thanks to Break. ]

[He looks like he might be considering it for a hot second... BUT THEN--]

Maybe... it's just a trick! They're just trying to make you think that!

Or perhaps they've ran away...after all it has been strangely quiet, hasn't it?

[IT'S RIDICULOUS and yet, Dhaos at least seems to be having more success than anyone else so far! Mostly because he's actually trying to help... Everyone else just wanted him to fight them or egged his stupidity on. THANKS, FRIENDS.]
